Frequently asked questions
We thought it would be a good idea to address some of the frequently asked questions we get about our Cocktail Classes. This not only saves us from repeating ourselves but also means you can quickly get any answers you need!
What time and day do you offer cocktail classes?
We open 7 days a week and offer classes between 12 midday and 8pm.
Can we wear fancy dress to the cocktail class?
We openly encourage fancy dress however the cocktail classes take place in a family restaurant and children may be present sometime passing through or using the toilet. We ask that all fancy dress is not inappropriate for children.
How do I pay my deposit?
The deposit required is £5 per person, with the balance payable on the day of your class. It can be paid in a number of ways. We can provide details for a bank transfer, take a card payment over the phone, accept cash in one of our venues or it can be paid online. Please speak to our bookings coordinator for more details.
Do you offer any non-alcoholic classes for my friends who don't drink?
Yes, we charge a flat fee of £15 per person, this allows them to still get involved in the class and enjoy the fun without partaking in alcohol.
Is food included with the cocktail class?
Food is not normally included with the class. We normally offer the option to book Asian Tapas at £5 per person from our Restaurant partners Fat Buddha. This is subject to availability.
How many drinks do I get with my cocktail class?
This all depends on the package you have booked and how many questions you get right in the class! We are firm believers in drinking responsibly and will never encourage irresponsible drinking.
Can we book a meal with The Cocktail Project too?
Unfortunately you will have to speak to the appropriate restaurant directly, please follow the link in the question and answer above.
We'd like to book a private area, is this possible?
Yes it is possible but is subject to availability, size of the party and other constraints. There may be a minimum spend depending on the time and day. Please contact us for more information.
One of my friends wants to watch but doesn't want to get involved in the class, is that ok?
Of course it is! There is no charge for friends or family to watch the class. We are still restricted by the terms of our alcohol license so we do not allow under 18's in the venue after 8pm.
I have to cancel my class, can I get my deposit refunded?
We are more than happy to refund deposits when given appropriate notice. Sadly, due to the fact that we may have to turn away classes on busy days in order to accommodate your booking, deposits are forfeited with cancellations of 10 days or less from the day you paid your deposit. You may still use your deposit to book in another class at a future date if you wish.
My friend/family member is under 18, can they still join in our class if they do a non-alcoholic package?
Unfortunately we cannot allow anyone under the age of 18 to join an alcoholic masterclass. They will still be able to watch the class if it finishes before 8pm.
